Artist’s Statement
Balloon Garden
is the most ambitious of my Kreinik Mfg. Co. thread experiments at the
Houston International Quilt Festival Market. I used applique, thread
painting, couching, and trims to create this fanciful Asian garden with
a bouquet of balloons swaying about in the wind.
