Planet Butterfly is a whimsical astronomical quilt that depicts a planet where butterflies circle it like jets. The giant, central butterfly is typical. There are flight patterns left by it and other giant butterflies zipping through space. At the lower right, the planet has a caterpillar moon where the butterflies are germinated. Stitchery on this quilt is particularly well-detailed. The fabrics are beautiful, hand-made batiks.
