Salli McQuaid, '77 MA Art, of The Woodlands, Texas, a fine art
quilt artist, has contributed work to a traveling exhibition titled
"SAQA: A Sense of Time."
McQuaid's quilt, "Heartbreak Hotel," was
displayed at Houston's International Quilt Festival in November and
in 2009 will be shown in international quilt festivals held in

Heartbreak Hotel was an exceptional example of a contemporary and
innovative use of commercial fabrics in the art quilt medium. She has a
unique sense of artistic style, coupled with technical ability, that
