Tall Lightning
is a cubistic interpretation of lightning in action. Lightning is explored on several
visual levels. This tall quilt was inspired by the email internet handle
of a Studio Art Quilt Associates' colleague: "tall girl," which really
appealed to me. On another level, I see it as her portrait. Of course,
