WIN!
emanated from a place so deep within my collective unconscious that I
don’t even understand it. I do know that tigers and dragons
are symbols of courage and power, and that the women who walk the
quilt’s serene gardens are at peace with themselves and their
environment. The green ribbon signifying ovarian cancer research and
support is contained in one fabric. Through the use of various colors
and techniques, further ovarian allusions are made throughout the quilt.
WIN! ’s central image is a cross with halos, references to
our universal creator and her/his good works, and the woven borders are
shaded mosaics of these elements.*

inspirational.
