Happy 50th! was
created to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of Helen and Dick Wirtensen.
Fabric musical imagery alludes to Helen's singing talent and golfing imagery
alludes to Dick's interest in golfing. Various dates and names are
repeated as shading/embellishment to heighten the personal intonations of the artwork.
The landscape layout reminds me of Pleasanton, CA, as you look westward toward
the hills. Fabrics were
chosen to represent winter, spring, summer and fall, symbolic of the phases of
our lives.

someone special, check out Salli McQuaid

We'll come up with something great -- and on your budget. On the reverse
will be a special label, commemorating the occasion, the people honored,
and the person(s) from whom it was received.
