Because I love Asian things, I wanted to make a Japanese piece. I read several books on the subject, and this is the result. When making Kimono Wedding, I employed machine embroidery, long-arm pantographing, applique, gilting, and piecing. Much of the imagery suggests traditional Japanese symbolism.
