Artist 's Statement

This is a bright, trendy quilt with a happy theme: Laugh Out Loud. "LOL" is of course the internet lingo for that happenstance. The quilt was intuitively completed from many, many pieces of fabric with my "unruly" bargello technique.
 

Materials: textiles, specialty threads (metallic, haloshimmer, variegated, cotton, rayon, invisible, poly), ⅛" metallic braid.

Techniques: machine piecing, couching. Long-arm free-form quilting.
