Aquawebs for aqua-aerobics ...

Top left: lotus. Right: luau. Bottom: hot tiger.

Need aquawebs for your aqua-aerobics? Here's some. I'll sell them to you for just $25 including postage and handling. I only had time to make three extra pairs, so get them while you can. They're reversible for two looks, and copied from the standard commercial kind; so they'll fit just the same. I think these will hold up a little longer, since I've used a better quality of knit to make them from. I use them for my classes three times a week, and can guarantee your arms will get a better workout.

email me at artistwriter@oplink.net , and we'll arrange payment through Paypal , personal check, or money order. Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.

You'd rather make your own? Click on the pattern below to get a full size pattern, print it, and make yourself a pair. Then you can adjust the pattern any way you want.

DIRECTIONS:

You'll need about one-quarter of a yard of one or two swimsuit knit fabric(s), depending upon whether you want the reversible look or not.

  1. Fold each piece of fabric to cut two pieces each (1front and 1back). Or fold the one piece of fabric twice, to create four pieces (2 front and 2 back).
  2. Cut one piece of stabilizer for each web (2 pieces altogether).
  3. Put the RIGHT sides together of each web.
  4. Place one piece of stabilizer on top of each web.
  5. Sew the webs together, using a knit joining or zig-zag stitch and leaving the bottoms free so that you can get your hands in.
  6. Turn and press the webs.
  7. Mark the finger pattern on top of each web and sew.
  8. Trim stabilizer off from wrist to bottom of finger level.
  9. Topstitch around the web from the bottom of the thumb to the bottom of the little finger.
  10. Hem the bottoms.
  11. Add a strip of elastic underneath the bottom of one side of the wrist for increased fit, if you wish.

You're done, and no one else has a set just like yours.
