Bluebell Rainbow
was my first attempt at Carol Doak’s (inventor of paper piecing)
method of paper piecing. I adapted just one block from her star series,
stretching it to a 7”x 5” format. I also changed the sizes of a piece of fabric
or two to get the visual effect I wanted and to make it more original. Many
resident and three self-designed embroideries enhance this tiny, bright, and
